If you are enrolled in another Australian State or Territory but have moved to Victoria, you must complete a new enrolment form when you have lived at your new address for at least one month.
It is compulsory to enrol and vote if you:
Your change of address will automatically be updated on the electoral roll for all Federal elections and your name will be removed from the electoral roll in the state or territory you have moved from.
It is important to keep your enrolment details up to date. If you move house, or change your name, remember to fill in a new enrolment form.
*A qualified British subject for the electoral roll in Victoria is one who was on an Australian electoral roll between 26 October 1983 and 26 January 1984.
